ARC Supervision

Professional/Clinical Supervision

Through Reflective, Solution Focused Conversations

ARC Supervision has roots in an Appreciative Leadership & Strengths Based Approach

Utilising Solution Focused & Reflective Practice Models Drawing on Positive Psychology & Mindful Leadership

In recent years the terminology around Clinical Supervision has varied widely. RCSLT guidelines now utilise the term Professional Supervision. In ARC Supervision this has been taken ‘on board’ . However as other AHP Professions & Nursing continue to use Clinical Supervision and also access ARC services this has also been retained.

Appreciative Reflective Conversations

Supervision through Appreciative Reflective Conversations

Reflective Clinical Supervision – Through the Looking Glass

This online course for individuals or small groups covers the differences between different types of supervision & the roles we play in supporting others in their development. You learn about reflective models, solution focused supervision & the practicalities and paperwork. You will leave knowing more about how to guide a conversation in supervision as well as how to set up a contract and review a supervisory relationship. You will know about how we develop reflective skills to thrive in professional practice (Schön’s Swamp Skills) and ways of supporting resilience in others through Supervision.

The Course is divided into two sessions of up to 2.5 hours each. During the training you bring a case or issue where you need supervision and this is utilised practically during the training so that you experience supervision during the course.

The Training can be adapted for different levels, those who are new to being a supervisor, experienced supervisors and for supervisees who wish to engage more intuitively in the supervision process.
